A Greek-American wedding after the lockdowns, which was a great success

A few words about Evia

Evia or Euboea is the second largest island in Greece and the sixth largest in the Mediterranean. It has unique landscapes, quiet beaches and wonderful images to offer to travelers from wherever they come, while at the same time it is a suitable destination for both summer and winter holidays. The important thing is that it can been reached by road and it helps the access to the guests.

 

For these and many other reasons it is the right place for your wedding and that is why many choose it as a destination.

A few words about the wedding in Evia

This wedding party took place at the wonderful Elimnion Resort hotel in Rovies, Evia. A large space with an unlimited amazing view, ready for a special party.

 

The couple (Panagiotis & Kyriaki) were originally from Greece and USA, so the guests were from different cultures, different music listening and different response time on the dance floor. On the other hand, the couple also liked different kind of music but both had exactly the same wishes, to see everyone in the dancefloor and have fun.

 

Magic Weddings DJs succeed to combine Greek and American culture and have all the guests on the dance floor.

 

The second challenge we had was closing music at 01:00 due to covid-19 restrictions. So everything had to be done faster than usual, more immediately and clearly the response of the people was exactly what it needed to get the result we wanted.

Τα παιδιά του Magic Weddings τα βρήκαμε από το ίντερνετ. Κάτω από τις δύσκολες συνθήκες που επικρατούν η συνεργασία που είχαμε ήταν άψογη. Το γλέντι του γάμου μας χάρη στο Νίκο και τους συνεργάτες τους ήταν τέλειο. Τα παιδιά είναι επαγγελματίες με όλη τη σημασία της λέξης και επίσης πολύ φιλικοί. A few words about Poros

Poros is an island next to Athens that can be reached by ferry from Piraeus but also easily by road within a few hours. This is why it is a common destination for wedding parties.

 

The island has beautiful beaches, nice food, nightlife and has been established as an ideal destination for short three-day holidays, while at the same time it is an ideal choice to have an island wedding, as you have imagined it.

A few words about our wedding in Poros

This wedding party took place on the private beach of the Xenia Poros Image Hotel. A beach with a beach bar turned into a dance floor in a very short time.

The couple’s (Christos & Chrysa) origin is from Poros but lived abroad permanently. Their biggest request was not to have an ordinary traditional wedding, but to really have a unique dance party and have fun with their friends. The Magic Weddings team delivered exactly what they promised, organizing the best beach party ever.

All the guests where dancing until 06:00am non-stop, with top foreign and Greek hits from all decades. The fun was undiminished and despite the reduction in the volume of the music we were subjected to, this wasn’t a problem for anyone.

The couple and the guests had the best wedding beach party and they are still discussing it with their friends.

A boho wedding, which ended as an amazing party

A few words about Lefkada

Lefkada is one of the beautiful alternative destinations for wedding parties in the summer, because it can be reached by road and there are amazing award-winning beaches for holidays or honeymoons.

 

One important information though is that the local legislation of Lefkada has a ban on sound volume after 03:00 am, and all weddings must end by that time. A couple who really wants to have fun at their wedding party knows very well that there should be no time limit on the fun. Magic Weddings has the solution though, read on…

A few words about the wedding in Lefkada

The specific wedding party took place at the venue Eleonas – the Lefkada Wedding Garden. An alternative space that offers an interesting boho note, combined with string lights which brings a beautiful romantic effect.

 

The couple (Stelios & Denis) came from abroad but they have Greek roots and their mood was to dance until the morning. They made absolutely clear to us from our first meeting. The Magic Weddings team delivered exactly what they promised and left nothing standing in the way of this unique outcome.

 

After 01:00am, the party spirit skyrocketed, we turned off the speakers and we switched to Silent disco headphones, while we gave the choice of two simultaneous DJs playing different genres of music. The guests could choose what they wished to listen to with the a button on them.

 

The result was an amazing DJ battle of music, where the guests danced to both different genres, and at the same time the fun was on top all the night.

We had the best communication during the planing period and our djs helped us not only with recommendations about the music but also with general tips for the party. Very professional, punctual to our meetings and friendly. The wedding was held on an island and due to restrictions to the music after 2am we switched to silent disco and it turned out to be the highlight of the party. Strongly recommended!
